Success is the sum of efforts and details.
Over and over and over again.
Think about it: Starting a business, working on a new project or activity, starting a new relation or partnership, these all are BIG projects.
However, you will reach the big goal by summing up small details and efforts, over and over again.
It could be good practice to take note and outline all the small efforts you take and practice on a regular basis in order to create a big success. In this way things will be part of a procedure/process document.
Some of these efforts might work, whilst some may not.
Either way, find what works for you, be consistent, and you will find success as a reward.
I want to give you a practical example so that you fully understand:
Let’s suppose you are participating in an upcoming marathon.
The marathon is the BIG GOAL:
However, you don’t just wake up the next morning and go out and run a marathon.
For you to be able to run the marathon you will have to make lots of small efforts and pay attention to lots of details.
First you have to mentally say you want to do it.
Then you have to start running small distances.
5 km the first week.
10 km the second week. 15 km the third week and so on until you are able to reach 42 kms.
This means you need to train and be focused for months!
You will have to start running every single day in order to keep improving and becoming a better runner.
You will also have to go on a special diet, need to start sleeping well and go to bed earlier, start saying NO to certain social events, etc..
It will not be easy, BUT all of these efforts and details are the necessary steps to be successful and be able to reach your goal.
This applies to anything. Relationships, work, projects, trips, sports, etc.
