During this quarantine, our pets are one of the things that give us happiness. I’m sure they’re just as confused as I am by the amount of time we’re spending at home. They may be even sick of all our kisses and cuddles, wondering when they’ll get a break from all the neediness.
Jokes aside, it is quite therapeutic to have our fur babies close during these trying times. One woman who’s all too familiar with the magic of animals is Alex Cearns. Alex is a a self-taught award-winning animal photographer and businesswoman. She has photographed thousands of dogs from around the world!
Alex was raised in the outbacks and farms of Australia. Since she was a child, her best friends were animals. Most of her pets were rescued and nurtured by her family. Before being a professional photographer, Alex was part of the police force. Photography was just her hobby, but will eventually lead to worldwide fame.
When she established her own studio, it came with plenty of sacrifices, including leaving a job she has held for 19 years.
In this interview, Alex shares about the beginnings of her successful life, as well as the joys and challenges of her business. She also talks about her 2 dogs and her cat.
