Jessica Hickman is the creator of Bullyology, an organization created to help others avoid, report and overcome bullying. Having been bullied in the workplace herself, Jessica has survived trauma and come out victorious. She uses her wisdom and skills to empower others.
Her story started from the subtlest sexist remarks to full on obsessive, destructive behavior. In the end, Jessica reported her abuser 32 times. She has suffered both mentally, physically and spiritually through these years of torment. Jessica strengthened her spirituality and did everything she could to learn about bullying.
Today, Bullyology is almost 3 years old. The horror of her experience brought out her life’s mission. Jessica now helps define and identify bullying, and pushes for restorative justice in organizations both big and small.
In this interview, Jessica shares the tools she used to survive and get out of her horrible situation. he also speaks about her projects and shares her passion for social work and psychological safety.
