Food gives us joy and comfort. In times like these, food photos and stories around the dinner table inspire us to hope for a better tomorrow. Another hopeful story is that of Natalia Diaz. She is empowering refugees all over the world through her journey with food.
Natalia is a top-rated food blogger and international event organizer in Madrid. At an early age, she was encouraged to read and write. She thoroughly enjoyed these activities, which she combined with her knack for business. Graduating with a degree in business administration, Natalia then moved to Sydney to pursue creative writing.
Through her desire to enhance her skills by doing what she loves, Natalia opened many doors for her career. She eventually moved back to Spain and founded Kusina Madrid and Chefugee, two initiatives that support culinary events and food stories.
In this interview, Natalia talks about the challenges she faced as a blogger and business leader. She also advice for people looking to jump to a new life overseas.
